Ai Ohashi

 I keep pushing the Japanese “Noh” mask of a young Japanese woman onto my face. I continues to press that mask against my face so hard that I hard to breathe and ends up slamming the mask against the floor with the nausea. I have never wanted to be born as a Japanese woman, but no one can choose their gender, country, or appearance anything else. In this performance, I completely denied the gender roles imposed on me by my society as a "Japanese woman."
